For those of you who follow my blog, it’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Primally Pure. And for any new readers out there, I first discovered this Southern California based, clean beauty brand on my hunt for the perfect natural deodorant a few years ago. - The Verdict: If you love the feeling of squeaky, clean skin this face wash was made for you! The bar lathers nicely, and the sudsy formula really does a thorough job at cleansing. In fact, just a touch of this soap easily removes my mineral-based sunblock which is quite impressive. The plumping bar has a subtle rose scent that both wakes me up in the morning and relaxes me at night. And since it’s a solid piece of soap, I was easily able to cut off about one-fourth of the bar before first use. I keep the larger chunk in the shower and the smaller piece in a dish by my bathroom sink so there’s never an excuse to not wash my face before bed. Last but certainly not least, my favorite thing about this cleansing bar is that there is zero plastic involved which in turn means less waste! Some key ingredients include pink kaolin clay, coconut milk, rose, and carrot seed oil.

- The Verdict: I have been using this product since it was called the Geranium Complexion Mist and can’t get enough of it. I love the minty floral scent and how the formula really wakes up my skin. It can be used as a toner before moisturizing, as a setting spray for your makeup, or as an afternoon pick-me-up when your skin needs a quick refresher. The spray nozzle works great, and the bottle lasts quite some time!

- The Verdict: This raw honey and koalin clay based mask is a game changer. It has a much thinner consistency than most masks I’ve used in the past which makes the application process a touch more messy but the relaxation period a lot more enjoyable because the mask stays pliable and soft. Because the formula does not harden over time, your skin never gets tight making simple movements like smiling and blinking a thing of ease 😉 The plumping mask has a beautiful maroon color and an intoxicating scent of earth and rose. After 15-20 minutes, the formula always washes off easily and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and nourished which makes me really excited to try their other two face masks.

- The Verdict: Like the Plumping Mist, I have also been using this serum for quite some time. I love the rich amber color, deep rose scent, and how nice it feels on my skin. Like all Primally Pure products, a little goes a long way. It only takes 4 drops to cover my face and neck. And although this particular serum has a very dark color, it absorbs quickly into my skin and has never left a stain on my white pillow cases. This powerful serum is formulated with so many great oils including pomegranate, rosehip, green coffee, and goji berry to name just a few.

- The Verdict: Although I am obsessed with Primally Pure’s tallow-based body butter, I was unsure if I would enjoy their new line of tallow-based face creams. After first use though, I was sold since it thoroughly moisturized my face without leaving it feeling greasy. The formula is rich but light all at the same time. And as you guessed it, a little goes a long way with this cream. I suggest using a pea sized amount at first and then adding a bit more if necessary. The Clarifying Cream has an invigorating herbal aroma that I absolutely love along with beneficial ingredients like manuka and neroli. If you’re a strict vegan, this product may not be for you since it contains both emu oil and the tallow from grass-fed cows. Primally Pure prides itself on responsible and ethical sourcing so I, personally, am okay with buying this product because animal-based fats are full of essential vitamins known for their healing properties.

- The Verdict: Primally Pure’s charcoal based Clarifying Bar is truly delightful. Just like the plumping bar mentioned above, this facial soap lathers nicely and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean! The aroma of the Clarifying Bar is a bit hard to describe, but if I had to choose some words to explain the intoxicating scent I’d use: sweet – minty – floral – earthy – and complex. Other than the activated charcoal which helps detoxify the skin, key ingredients include calendula, coconut oil, and honey. This gentle yet powerful cleanser is best for those looking to tackle acne, hyperpigmentation, inflammation, an excess of oil, and sun damage. It’s definitely worth a try and great for men and teens as well.
