I have been wanting to try Odacité’s skincare products for years and finally took the plunge a few months ago. Keep on reading for my honest review.
Gentle Rejuvenating Cream Cleanser
- The Verdict: Despite its lovely scent & soft texture, this product should not be allowed to call itself a cleanser. Although I remove my makeup via oil cleansing or a wipe before washing my face in the evening – I always like to see if a cleanser is capable of removing dirt and makeup at the end of a long day. Most products remove at least some debris from the skin. However, this product removed nothing. With that knowledge in mind – I Ieft this cream cleanser in the shower and primarily used it in the morning. The product would leave a soft film on the skin that felt more like a moisturizer and less like a cleanser. For that reason alone, I cannot recommend this product at all unless you have ultra sensitive skin since it never left my face feeling rejuvenated like the name proclaims.
- Price: $40.00 for 4.0 oz
- Recommended Alternative: I have purchased Cocokind’s Oil to Milk Cleanser more than once. If you are a fan of gentle formulas and cream cleaners you cannot go wrong with this product especially with a price point of $18.00 for 2.9 ounces.

Beautiful Day Smoothing Hydration Cream
- The Verdict: Let’s see…where to begin. First off, the bottle was defective since the pump was broken. It would work on occasion but look forever to expel any lotion on the days that it did work. Next, the scent was a little too perfumey for my personal taste. The texture was very light which is expected of a day cream, but also felt & smelled like rubbing alcohol upon application. Even after a lot of shaking – the consistency of the formula was never consistent. Some days this cream hydrated my face. Other days it didn’t. For all those reasons, I absolutely cannot recommend this product.
- Recommended Alternative: Since I love a good SPF based moisturizer, you can’t go wrong with Hynt Beauty’s Sun Prep.
Vitamin C & E + Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Serum
- The Verdict: Of all the products in the Odacité lineup, this serum was the one that I was most excited to finally try. The glass bottle is beautiful, & the scent of the serum is pleasant. Other than that though, I didn’t love much else about this product. Just like the Hydration Cream – the dispenser was broken which was a huge disappointment. Despite the defect, I was able to still access the serum which had a consistency more akin to a light day cream. It applied nicely but left a tacky feeling on the skin. Although the tacky feeling went away after about an hour, the pleasant scent also went away upon application. The serum would also often pill and leave behind a white residue. After four months of consistent use, I personally did not notice a change in dark spots or a significant brightening of my skin. As a result, I can honestly say that I won’t be purchasing this serum again due to the price point & defective packaging. I do encourage you to give it a shot though as you may have better luck.
- Price: $78.00 for 1.0 oz
- Recommended Alternative: I love the Plumping Serum by Primally Pure!

Edelweiss Extrême® Bioactive Renew Supreme Cream
- The Verdict: Of the four products I purchased, this was by far the best. I enjoyed the flat-surface pump, rich texture, yellow hue, and licorice scent. The cream did its job in moisturizing my skin in the evening and on the occasional morning when my face needed extra hydration. At the end of the day, I can happily recommend this lotion. However, I do still think there is a much better night cream on the market when comparing formulation and price point. See below.
- Price: $78.00 for 1.69oz
- Recommended Alternative: Despite regularly trying a variety of evening moisturizers over the years, I have yet to discover anything better than Ursa Major’s Golden Hour Recovery Cream. This product costs less than the Odacite cream & in my humble opinion, performs much better in every single way. You can read all about my obsession with Ursa Major by clicking here.
- The Verdict: After my less than stellar reviews of most of the items above, this product continues to be a favorite of mine. I am obsessed with these yellow rounds and use them on a daily basis. And since I want to say something positive about this brand, please click here to read more about my affinity for these sponges.
- Price: $6.00 for 4 Rounds
