
Whether they are needed as an ingredient for a composed meal, an item for a quick snack, or for emergency preparedness – it’s always wise to keep a variety of canned food in your pantry. Beans, peeled tomatoes, and tinned fish make up the majority of canned items in my kitchen. However, there are a few other staples from Trader Joe’s that I just can’t live without.
Compiling this list was not too difficult since I buy all of these TJ items on a regular basis and would be devastated if they ever got discontinued.
- Organic Black Beans
- Organic Garbanzo Beans
- Organic Great Northern Beans
- Cento San Marzano Tomatoes
- Italian Tomato Paste (in the metal tube)
- Dolmas (with rice not quinoa)
- Fire Roasted, Diced Green Chiles
- Whole Artichoke Hearts
- Tinned Fish (especially the calamari, anchovy fillets, lightly smoked mussels, smoked trout, wild caught sardines, and tuna)
- Sparkling Water (in a variety of flavors)
