Ever since I became a Detox Market customer in 2018, I have been eyeing Ursa Major’s products. I finally took the plunge at the end of 2019 and purchased their facial cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and night cream. Keep on reading for my honest review of this natural skincare line.
- The Verdict: I really love this cleanser! It’s gentle, smells absolutely wonderful, and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and invigorated after each use. My favorite thing about this product though is that it’s also great for men. My boyfriend loved using the Fantastic Face Wash after his less than stellar, Every Man Jack cleanser reached its end. I highly recommend this product since it’s not only great for individuals but the entire family as well.

- The Verdict: I really like this toner. I use it with a cotton round after cleansing and am always impressed by its ability to remove all of the excess oil and muck from my face and neck. My favorite thing about the Essential Tonic is that it’s not overly astringent and always leaves my face feeling clean, fresh, and bright.
- Price: $26.00 for 4.0 oz.
- The Verdict: I’m not the biggest fan of this moisturizer for a variety of reasons. Don’t get me wrong – it works well enough, and I finished the entire bottle. But for me personally, the serum-like consistency of the lotion is a bit too light. The scent is also pretty unremarkable compared to their other products. I have combination skin, but needed a few pumps to feel moisturized. It would also flake off my skin on occasion. I think the Fortifying Face Balm is good for the summer and best suited for individuals with an oilier complexion.

- The Verdict: This night cream is pure perfection and worth every penny. It is a beautiful, pale yellow color and has such a seductive yet light aroma. The formula is packed with high quality ingredients such as sunflower seed oil, sea buckthorn, calendula, neroli, sandalwood, and rose. The texture is rich and luxurious yet it absorbs quickly into my skin. Every time I use this miracle elixir, I truly feel like a million bucks since it always leaves my face feeling so nourished, hydrated, and refreshed. I wear this cream primarily in the evening and sometimes during the day when my skin needs an extra boost. A little goes a long way so it will last you a good while. Golden Hour Recovery Cream is a must try for anyone seeking to pamper themselves during their evening skincare routine.

Last but not least, one of my absolute favorite things about Ursa Major is how much they love and care for the environment! They not only pay close attention to the natural ingredients used in their skincare products, but they also pay close attention to how their business practices impact our planet which is a huge bonus in my opinion!
